Long time ago religious leaders managed to  be advisors beside the earthly kings, rulers.
The monks and the priests managed to gather great worldly treasures, in the meantime they stayed humble, acting poor, but enjoying the beauty of the treasures, just like the rich today, gathering everything what they could from the rich and so from the poor.  In the meantime they had to make money for living too, so they made wine, the nuns used pregnant poor or run away girls for labor in their laundry, and kept the population pretty well under control, teaching them to be humble, the poor must suffer and when they die they go to heaven, where they meet their loved ones and live happily ever after.

    Those who had a relative in the upper class could progress, many got their riches from robbing tombs, or even  churches, which later become inheritance for the rich brets, who never learned to appreciate it just waiting for the old man to get out of their way.

     In this moment the Pope is the greatest King Ruler in the world, because the Vatican  is his own country, and  1/3rd of the world population is catholics who sends him their tax, giving to the church, who do not pay tax to the country, 20 %  income keeps the priest supplied, 40 % goes to the bishop and 40 % goes to the Pope, the king, smart not to get into politics, do not have military, only 1-200 Swiss body guards he keeps, keeps the people quiet, which is not working all the time, when 2 religion fights,  or kill each other, like the Jews, the Muslems, the Christians and the other religions.

     Great, rich church  buildings went from one religion to another, like in Spain in several hundred years.  Jews, Muslems Christians and others killed each other and took over sometimes that same church building with all the treasures intact and growing.

     In the meantime out in the world the rich fights for leadership in the countries, trying  to get richer  in their ruling time, fighting with each others country, blaming, hating the others. But long time ago the king or the leader went first into the fight in the war, today they play chess game and send their people out to die.

     Again in the meantime the stronger bullies the other, all "good" wants to turn everybody "good",  when they are the real "bad" and creating more hostility, telling that others are all sinners.

     The "bad" is doing what they feel and do not care of the consequences, so they must do it, because another attracts it with their thinking and wishes. They are the ones who do the LAW of LIFE.

     Most people do not say what they are thinking, wallowing in their rightousness and if someone tells them their truth, they get angry, revengeful, or never talk to that person.

        This is the World today. this is why there is so many sickness and trouble, killings, and destroying each other.
